💫 Imam Ali (peace be upon him) said:
«لا تَكُنْ مِمَّنْ… يَرْجَى التَّوْبَةَ بِطُولِ اْلاَمَلِ… اِنْ عَرَضَتْ لَهُ شَهْوةٌ اَسْلَفَ الْمَعْصِيَةَ وَ سَوَّفَ التَّوْبَةَ»

“Do not be among those who… hope for repentance with long-term expectations… If faced with a desire, they choose sin and delay repentance.”

Avoid being someone who… hopes for repentance with prolonged expectations… If tempted by a desire, they opt for disobedience and postpone repentance.

🔶 Therefore, the #appropriate_approach for a believer is:
🔸 Strive to prioritize #matters_of_the_hereafter.
🔸 If worldly affairs are extensive and long-term, postpone them for the future.
🔸 However, regarding worldly matters, whenever necessary and #essential, pursue their resolution.
🔸 As for non-essential matters that require extensive planning, do not attempt to accomplish all of them now and do not expect all of them to be realized immediately.
