Marriage: A foundation and a #monotheistic_institution

👤 Ayatollah Tahriri:

🟡 Allah has created human beings in a way that their inherent instincts manifest in various aspects of their lives.
🚻 One of these instincts is the love and need for the opposite gender, which, if approached in accordance with #human_nature (as Allah mentions in the Quran), brings about tranquility:

💫 Surah Ar Rum Ayah 21: “وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ.”

And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquillity in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

The sacred Sharia places great importance on the matter of #marriage, and there are numerous narrations on this subject.

👈 From the essence of these statements, we derive that:
We should not view marriage as a one-dimensional issue,

👌Rather, marriage is a foundation and a #monotheistic_institution in which the two parties,
– Separate from personal desires,
– Strive to establish a #spiritual_union
– To reach a state of unity by moving from the realm of the individual to the realm of the collective.
